Studio Workshops
An experienced tutor, with over 40 years experience, Helen's workshops are fun and instructive. They are held at her design studio in Grayshott village, for up to 3 people at a time.
Group Workshops
Helen also offers workshops at client venues - these are charged at £200 per day plus .45p traveling expenses for the return journey.

This workshop covers making braids either round or flat, using simple tools and you will be shown a quick and easy method to make a bracelet with your finished braid; as well as some ideas for making key-rings or scissor keepers. Those with previous experience will be taught how to add beads.

Backstrap weaving is an ancient craft and there is evidence that these looms were used in pre-historic times. It is still used today to produce a variety of textiles particularly in South America and Asia. In a 3 hour workshop, you can expect to make a bracelet with a magnetic fastening and/or a book mark. In a longer workshop, there would be time to make a braided bag strap.
